Sangiovese: 2016

Great year in the Hunter Valley. An elegant, fruit driven style of wine that has a plethora of berry fruit and a touch of pepper and vanilla spice, held together by soft tannins that make this the perfect wine for Mediterranean food styles. It has a core of acidity which makes it perfect for any tomato based dish, and can even be chilled very slightly to go with Gazpacho.

Colour: Light brick red, with touches of crimson

Bouquet: Cherries & berry fruit, with light hints of vanilla spice.
