Legal Requirements

Liquor Act 1982 – It is an offence to sell or supply to or obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.

You must be 18 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Pokolbin Estate Vineyard. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature a person 18 years of age or older who is not intoxicated. Wines purchased from Pokolbin Estate Vineyard are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card, PayPal or Afterpay. We accept all major Visa, MasterCard and Amex. Cards and payment methods are only charged once a confirmation of purchase is made.

Platinum and Gold Wine Club Members: Subscription to these memberships is run for a minimum 12 month period. Your obligation to your subscribed membership is to receive the minimum pack requirement; for Platinum Members, that being 1 case in March and 1 case in September at a minimum 25% discount. For Gold Members, that being 1 pack in December, 1 pack in April and 1 in August at a minimum 15% discount. Upon Online Sign up, you will not be charged until you place an order. Orders placed online do not form part of your membership obligation unless an agreement has been made with Pokolbin Estate Vineyard. Payment is to be taken before your pack is sent. You will receive at least 2 email notifications before your payment & pack is due. Before signing up, read your specific Membership Terms and Conditions for more information on the specifics of Wine Club Operations.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required. 

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Pokolbin Estate Vineyard is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. We understand some specific wines develop sediment, as well as aged corks can become soft. In the case of a wine being internally damaged, you are urged to contact Pokolbin Estate Vineyard at info@pokolbinestate.com.au or phone 02 4998 7524. Each case will be treated individually. Where appropriate, a replacement will be issued.

Customer Service Policy

Pokolbin Estate Vineyard Pty Ltd is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-7 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Shipping, Delivery & Refund Policy

We deliver products Australia wide using Australia Post. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location, exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.

Once an order is placed, you will be sent an email confirmation and receipt of purchase. Orders are dispatched within two business days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully.  We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where the wine has been internally damaged, spoiled or has been wrongly described.
