"2022 Vintage Report"

2022 Vintage is underway, so it's Phill's favourite time of year!

We started the Vintage on the 1st February with Hunter Valley estate-grown Semillon and Riesling, which were selectively hand-picked by a hard-working team ensuring only the best quality fruit made it to the winery.

With having around double the amount of rainfall compared to 2019 or 2020. There has been very little need to drip irrigate the grapevines, and our estate dams are full to the brim, which is ideal for future vintages.

This year has produced enough rainfall that we have returned to a more traditional season where picking starts at the end of January. So we have our fingers crossed for more sunshine to shine, and the rain to hold off while picking our grapes at the ideal time.
